IFK Göteborg is a professional football club based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Founded in 1904, the team has a long and decorated history that includes its first Swedish Championship at the 1908 Svenska Mästerskapet. After leaving its original stadium, Gamla Ullevi, in 1992, the team played at the larger Ullevi until Gamla Ullevi was demolished, rebuilt and reopened in 2009.
