Founded in 1996, Arch Enemy is a Swedish band that blends death metal with melodic riffs and vocals to create an innovative style of metal. Though the band introduced itself with the thrash metal stylings of its debut record, Arch Enemy has since mellowed out with the relatively tame but powerful sound of records like War Eternal from 2014.
