FC Andorra was founded in 1942 and is considered one of the few foreign teams that compete in Spain. After playing in the regional leagues for decades on end, the club finally made it to the Segunda División B in 1981. Winning the Copa Catalunya in 1994 gave the team the nudge it needed to become a household name in the country. FC Andorra plays its home matches at the Camp de Fútbol de Prada de Moles.
