Formed in 2002 in Mexico City by Erik Canales and Manuel "Manolín" Ávila, Allison is a prominent Mexican rock band. They are celebrated for their lively performances and infectious sound, which quickly earned them recognition in Mexico and abroad. Their debut album, released in 2006 and bearing their name, reached platinum status, with over 300,000 copies sold. This was followed by the albums Memorama in 2008 and 120Km/h in 2012. After a break due to a serious car accident in 2010, they returned with 120Km/h and established their own label, Nítido Records, in 2015. Influenced by punk rock, Allison has performed internationally, including at events such as Warped Tour and SXSW. The band has experienced changes in its lineup, notably with Ávila's exit in 2013, yet they have continued to release new music, including Todo Está Encendido in 2016. Allison remains a vital entity in the Latin rock scene, touring globally and captivating audiences with their dynamic performances.
