Buntspecht is an indie pop band formed in Austria. With little professional help, the six members first recorded their music in 2016, in an improvised garden shed studio. The band released its debut album Mostly Little Things in 2018, followed by Draußen im Kopf in 2019, both of which turned out be majorly successful. Its unique sound of indie pop with a hint of punk has not only earned them appreciation from the critics but also fan-following from different parts of the country.
