Deportivo de La Coruña is the Spanish football team that reigns supreme among the populace in Spain's autonomous region of Galicia. The club was established in 1906 and it only entered the top-tier Spanish football echelon in 1941. Since its initial entrance, the team has suffered constant relegation to the lower divisions until it finally won a title five points ahead of Barcelona in 1999. Dépor, as the team is affectionately known, plays its home games at the Riazor Municipal Stadium which holds a cozy 34,600 fans in the city of A Coruña.
