Kweku Collins is a rapper based in Evanston, IL. He started playing the drums at the age of four; wrote and recorded songs in high school and became an established rapper by the age 21. “Start A Fire,” “Your Song” and “King” are some of his songs which put him on the map, but it was his 2015 debut EP, Say It Here While It's Safe that created major waves. He is often described as a paradox due to his style of crafting songs which perfectly capture the essence of youth while also showing a level of maturity.
