The Hut People is an English instrumental duo that takes listeners on a musical journey around the world. Comprised of Sam Pirt and Gary Hammond, the group creates folk music pulled from geographical locations like Scandinavia, Canada, Spain and South Africa. The Hut People released its debut album, Home Is Where the Hut Is, in 2010 and since then the duo has kept busy, releasing additional LPs and building a name for itself as one of the more engaging folk duos on the live music circuit.
