The most successful football club in Singapore, Warriors FC is a football club from Jurong East that competes in the Singapore Premier League. It was founded in 1975 and plays its home games at the Jurong East Stadium. Formerly known as “SAF FC”, it has won the Singapore Premier League and the Singapore Cup on numerous occasions and holds the record for being the first football club in the country to win the double consecutively, a feat which it achieved in 2007 and 2008.
