Annan Athletic is a football team that competes in the Scottish League Two. It was formed in 1942 in Annan, a town in Dumfries and Galloway. The club is known for its impressive performances in the East of Scotland Football League and also for winning the league title many times. It is affectionately referred to as “Galabankies” and “Black and Golds” and it holds its home games at the Galabank stadium.
