Tina - The Tina Turner Musical by playwrights Katori Hall, Frank Ketelaar and Kees Prins tells the enigmatic and glamorous story of Tina Turner of the rock and roll fame. With Turner’s songs in the spotlight, the musical takes the audience on a journey from her young days in Tennessee, through her rocky relationship with Ike Turner, to her successful solo days. The musical premiered in April, 2018 at the Aldwych Theatre in London and has received a warm reception and great appreciation. The original cast of the show includes Adrienne Warren as Tina and Kobna Holdbrook-Smith as Ike Turner.
