Rhys Thomas Sylvester, professionally known as Mist, is a British rapper born on March 2, 1992, in Birmingham, England. He is of Saint Vincent and Grenadines heritage and was raised in a Punjabi community, drawing inspiration from notable artists such as Busta Rhymes and Snoop Dogg. Following a period of incarceration for dangerous driving, Mist redirected his focus to music, releasing his debut EP, M I S to the T, in 2016, which achieved chart success in the UK. His subsequent EP, Diamond in the Dirt, released in 2018, reached number 4 on the UK Albums Chart, further solidifying his presence in the music industry. Mist has collaborated with prominent artists including Nines, Not3s, and MoStack. His 2023 album, Redemption, showcases his artistic evolution. A devoted Manchester United supporter, Mist is also a father to one daughter. Despite facing personal hardships, including the passing of both parents, he continues to excel in his musical career and has ventured into professional boxing.
