Minor Poet

Minor Poet is the creation of multi-talented musician Andrew Carter, based in Richmond, VA. Minor Poet is a one-man band and every single track on his 2017 debut album And How!, was written, composed, sung and recorded by Andrew, in his basement. Budget restrictions caused him to use second hand soundboards and bargain bin mics,but he still managed to put out an excellent 11-track album. He is inspired by 60's classic groups like Beach Boys, fragments of which can be seen in his music. Andrew is one of the few lyricists who are extremely flexible about their subject matters and can find beauty and dept in mundane topics of everyday life.
