Kokoko!

Kokoko! is a musical collective from the Democratic Republic of the Congo whose unique style blends together traditional African sound with modern hip-hop songwriting styles and distinctive electronic production techniques. Releasing its debut album, Fongola, in 2019, the LP's intelligent collection of songs with lyrics about societal inequality and political corruption helped establish KOKOKO! as one of the more interesting forces on the modern African music scene.
