The football team of the Portuguese sports club, Sporting Clube Olhanense, plays in the Campeonato de Portugal- the third-tier of football competitions in the country. It was formed in 1912 in the municipality of Olhão. The team plays its home games at the Estádio José Arcanjo. Its history is studded with many achievements which include winning the Campeonato de Portugal. It has also spent many seasons in the Primeira Liga.
