Najaaraq Vestbirk, best known as Courtesy, is a Greenland-born, Danish DJ who has made her way to the forefront of the techno scene with her innovative, eclectic and layered approach to electronic music. Combining foot-stomping beats with the distinctive sound of Copenhagen's underground music scene, Courtesy's first musical venture was Dunkel Radio - a blog, podcast and radio show that is dedicated to the showcase of local, electronic musicians. For a time, Courtesy played alongside Mama Snake, Solid Blake and Smokey as part of the Apeiron Crew before striking out on her own to establish the record labels, Ectotherm and Kulør. Breaking boundaries with her music, Courtesy has joined an ever-growing cast of female DJs headlining at international music festivals across the globe.
