Union Sportive Carcassonnaise, which is popularly known as US Carcasonne, is one of the contenders in the Pro D2, which is the second-tier rugby competition in France. The club spans a long history in the game which begins in the year 1899 and is decorated with Fédérale 1 championship title, Fédérale 2 championship title and more such achievements. Its roster has been home to many skilled players such as Christophe Urios, Pierre Aguillon and Guy Jeannard. The city of Carcassonne is the club’s home and the Stade Albert Domec is its home ground.
