Sakarya Büyükşehir Belediyesi S.K. is a Turkish basketball club from Sakarya that was formed in 2013. It is a competitor in the Turkish Basketball First League (TBL) and hosts games at the Sakarya Sports Hall. The club’s most notable achievement came in 2017 when it won the TBL and achieved promotion to the Basketbol Süper Ligi for the very first time. In the subsequent season it qualified for the qualification rounds of the Basketball Champions League and also made their debut in the FIBA Europe Cup in 2018. Kerem Gönlüm, Metecan Birsen and Moustapha Fall are a few renowned players to have played for this club.
