Panathinaikos B.C. is a basketball club that competes in the Greek Basketball League and plays its home games at the O.A.C.A. Olympic Indoor Hall. Based in Athens, the club was founded in 1919 and is one of the most decorated clubs in European basketball history. It is one of the oldest teams in the country and has never been relegated from Greek top-flight basketball. The club holds many records and laurels including several EuroLeague titles, Greek First Division Championships, Greek Cup wins and can claim to have two Triple Crowns to its credit. The club is a European giant and has a very strong rivalry with Olympiacos. Nikos Galis, Dimitris Diamantidis and Dominique Wilkins are a few notable alumni to have represented this team.
