Odra Wodzisław is a football club that derives its name from the Oder river in Europe. With its roots in Wodzisław Śląski, Poland it competes in the Liga Okręgowa and uses the MOSiR Stadium for its home fixtures. Founded in 1922, it spent many years moving back and forth between Poland’s football second and third tiers but finally achieved promotion to the Ekstraklasa in 1996. Despite featuring in the top tiers of Polish football in the past it is yet to clinch any major silverware.
