FK Vardar is a North Macedonian football club that competes in the Macedonian First Football League. Formed in 1947, it has been playing its home fixtures at the Toshe Proeski Arena in Skopje since the club’s inception. It has always been the team to beat and boasts an incredible trophy haul which contains honors such as the Macedonian First League, Macedonian Football Cup, Yugoslav Cup and the Macedonian Republic Cup. It has a strong presence in European tournaments as well as they have featured in the Mitropa Cup, Balkans Cup and were the first Macedonian team to go through to the group stages of the UEFA Europa League.
