A.C. Pisa 1909 was founded in 1909 and has survived several name changes, relegations, exclusion from playing nationally and financial strain. The club's first win was the Serie B title in 1984-85. It has also won the Mitrop Cup more than once and the Coppa Italia Serie C in the 1999-2000 season. The club is housed at Arena Garibaldi and competes in the Serie B.
