Hedda Gabler is a dramatic play written by famed Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen. Premiering at the Residenztheater in Munich in 1891, the play has since gone on to become an iconic piece of European stage art. Telling the story the titular Heldda Gaber, the play examines what it means to be stuck in a loveless marriage with one's youth behind them.
