Detroit-native Cynthia Nabozny creates pop music under the stage name CYN. She grew up listening to the likes of Frank Sinatra and Doris Day, and uploading covers on social media. She found a mentor in Katy Perry and released her eponymous debut EP CYN in 2014. She later signed a record deal with Perry's record label in 2017 and released a slew of singles like "Together," "Alright," "Believer," "I'll Still Have Me" and more. In the meantime, she opened for artists like Sigrid and BØRNS, and also graced the stage at the Bonnaroo Music Festival in 2018. The following year saw the release of her debut album Mood Swing which featured tracks like "I Can't Believe" and "Bubble Bath."
