Paul Piche is a folk artist from Montreal who is known for his environmentalism and political activism in addition to his modern blend of folk and blues. Working mainly with an acoustic guitar, he record and released his debut LP, À qui appartient le beau temps, in 1977 and has since toured all over Canada and Europe. His songs such as "Les Pleins" have become contemporary folk classics in his home country while albums like 2009's Sur ce côté de la Terre have earned him an international fan base.
