Playboi Carti

Better known by his professional alias Playboi Carti, Jordan Terrell Carter is an American rapper formerly referred to as Sir Cartier. In 2012, the rapper signed with Awful Records, an underground label that he would eventually leave to join ASAP Rocky's AWGE. With a musical style described as mumble rap with a pleasing flow that is not overpowered by lyrics, Playboi Carti released his self-titled debut mixtape released in 2017. A songwriter and model as well, Playboi Carti often admits to his humble upbringing as a source of inspiration for his work.
