While Toronto FC II is based in Toronto, Canada, it competes in the USA in the USL League One. One of the few non-American clubs in the league, the club not only represents its city, but also the nation. Established in 2014, the team functions as the reserve team of MLS club Toronto FC. It plays its home games at the BMO Training Ground in North York, Toronto.
