Rockdale Ilinden Football Club was established by Australian people of the Macedonian diaspora in 1969. The team plays its home matches at Bicentennial Park South. The team competes in the National Premier League from the New South Wales region and won the championship for the first time in 1984. The soccer club has won several other championships like the NSW Super League and the NSW NPL series.
