Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC was founded by Serbian immigrants in 1968. Originally known as Riverside Rapid, the team adopted its current name in 1992. The team first reached the top soccer league in 1977 and competed in it till 1986. Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC has won several championships and titles throughout its career.
