Founded in 1998, Rostock Griffins is an American football team that competes in the German Football League 2. This Rostock-based club plays its home fixtures at the Rostock Athletic Stadium and is a member of the North Division of the league. After several years in the lower divisions with mixed results, the club finally tasted success after they were promoted to the GFL 2 for the first time in 2013 and have tried to replicate the same since 2017.
