1. FFC Turbine Potsdam, officially known as 1. Frauenfußballclub Turbine Potsdam 71 e. V. is a German women’s football team that competes in the Frauen-Bundesliga. Hailing from Potsdam, it is the most decorated East German club in the league and is the only one from this region to clinch the Bundesliga after the reunification of Germany. A dominant force throughout the ages, the club has won many accolades including the UEFA Champions League, Frauen-Bundesliga and the DFB-Pokal. Founded in 1971, the club plays its home games at the Karl-Liebknecht-Stadion and has an intense rivalry with FFC Frankfurt.
