Also known as “Los Petroleros”, Alianza Petrolera FC is a professional football club that competes in the Categoría Primera A which is the highest level of Colombian football. It was formed in 1991 and utilises the Estadio Daniel Villa Zapata for its home games as it is based in Barrancabermeja, Colombia. The club famously won the Categoría Primera B in 2012 and since then has never been relegated.
