The Ontario, Canada-based band indie rock band Born Ruffians has been making music since 2003. The group released its debut LP, Red, Yellow & Blue, to generally positive reception and has toured the country with noteworthy acts like Franz Ferdinand, Caribou and Hot Chip. Even though the band is signed to the predominantly electronic label Warp Records, the group makes an enduring form of indie rock with hints of 1960s garage and pop rock.
