Bandstand is a musical composed by Richard Oberacker with book and lyrics by Oberacker and Robert Taylor. Premiering in 2015 at the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey, Bandstand tells the story of a group of veterans returning stateside after fighting in World War II. In order to combat their shared difficulties of coping with post-war life the guys form a band and compete in a national radio contest.
