Written by Noel Coward in 1939, Present Laughter is a stage comedy that follows famous actor Garry Essendine as he prepares to embark on a tour in Africa. Self-absorbed and on the brink of a mid-life crisis, Gary's life descends into chaos as he tries to placate his long-time secretary, graciously turn down aggressive women, and deal with a manic playwright.
