FC Eindhoven was formed in 1909 in the city of Eindhoven in the Netherlands. It first tasted victory in 1937 when it ruled the scoreboard at the KNVB Cup and became the winner. A similar success was re-created by the club when it won the Eredivisie for the first time in 1954. It played in the top league for a few years after its win but was relegated later. It enjoyed another short run in the top league but it has been a part of Eerste Divisie since 1977. It uses the Jan Louwers Stadion in Eindhoven as its home ground.
