This club is from the province of Limburg in the southern Netherlands. Established in 1953, Roda JC Kerkrade stayed in the Eredivisie for 41 years from 1973 to 2014, the longest among Dutch teams outside of the ‘Top-Three’, Ajax, Feyenoord and PSV Eindhoven. The club has not had much success in the top-tier, however it did win the Netherlands Football League in 1955; the last one before the Eredivisie was created. It also has won the KNVB Cup twice and the Eerste Divisie once. Roda JC takes the pitch at the Parkstad Limburg Stadion which holds a capacity of approximately 20,000.
