Liam Gallagher is a singer/songwriter and musician who rose to fame during the 1990s as the lead singer of English Britpop band Oasis. Though his name will always be tied to Oasis and his brother Noel, with whom he's maintained a very public feud, Gallagher remains one of the most famous British artists for his distinctive voice and songwriting style. After Oasis disbanded in 2009 with the departure of Noel, Liam continued to play with the other members to form the band Beady Eye. The band released two albums, Different Gear, Still Speeding in 2011 and 2013's BE, before disbanding in 2014. Only then did Gallagher pursue a solo career. He played sporadically throughout the 2010s before releasing his debut solo album, As You Were, in 2017.
