Paint Your Wagon is a musical comedy that premiered on Broadway at the Shubert Theatre in 1951. Centering around the ups and downs of a small mining town in Gold Rush-era California, Paint Your Wagon examines personal lives and relationships of individuals mining for gold in the mid-1800s. Since premiering, the play has gone on to receive revivals around the world, in addition to being adapted into a successful film in 1969, starring Clint Eastwood and Lee Marvin.
