With parents who dealt with addiction and no proper authoritative figure, he had to fend for himself. Born Adolph Thornton, Jr., Young Dolph is a cousin of deceased rapper Juice Wrld. He had been rapping for quite some time but was not interested in doing so on a professional level. A near-death experience in 2008 motivated him to change his mind. King of Memphis, Bulletproof and Dum and Dummer are a few of his popular works. Trafivally, Young Dolph died in 2021 following a shooting in Tennessee.
