A member of Liga MX, Mexico's premiere domestic football league, Club Universidad Nacional A.C. (or simply, Pumas) is a professional club based out of Mexico City. The club was founded in 1954 and won its first Primera División championship after the 1976-1977 season. Known to its fans as Los Pumas (The Cougars), the club hosts matches at Olímpico Universitario, its home stadium.
