Based in Frankfurt, Germany, Löwen Frankfurt is an ice hockey team which was founded in 2010. Playing their home games at the Eissporthalle in Frankfurt, the club is actually a successor of the Frankfurt Lions, which was demoted from the DEL. Löwen Frankfurt secured a spot in Germany's second-tier DEL2 in 2014.
