IF Björklöven also known commonly as “Löven” is an ice hockey club that is a member of the HockeyAllsvenskan which is Sweden’s second division for professional ice hockey. It was established in 1970 and has also competed in the Elitserien for 15 seasons in its history. It achieved great success in the 80s and won the Le Mat trophy in 1987. It plays its home matches at the A3 Arena and has featured NHL players such as Ric Jackman, Greg Parks and Andrew Raycroft in its squad.
