Grizzlys Wolfsburg is a German professional ice hockey team, founded in 1975. The team was promoted to the DEL professional league in 2004, but after a rocky start, was demoted due to problems with their arena not meeting regulations. The team re-entered the DEL in 2006 and first reached the championship series in 2011.
