Kootenay Ice, previously known as Edmonton Ice, was one of the major ice hockey teams to compete in the Western Hockey League (WHL). It came into existence in 1996 and most of its games were played at its home ground, Western Financial Palace. From the Memorial Cup to the WHL Championship, it had a lot of winning titles to its record.
