HC Ambrì-Piotta is an ice hockey club that represents Ambri and Piotta in the National League - the top-flight for professional Swiss ice hockey. It was formed in 1937 and plays its home fixtures at the Valascia. Known fondly as “Bianco-Blu”, it has never been demoted since 1985 but is yet to clinch the elusive National League crown. Honors won by the club most notably include the IIHF Continental Cup, IIHF Super Cup and the Swiss Cup. Dale McCourt, Andy Bathgate and Richard Park are a few reputed players that have represented this club.
