Melbourne United is one of the top teams that play in the National Basketball League (NBL). It was formed in 1984 as Melbourne Tigers, a name which the team donned for many years before changing it to Melbourne United in 2014. Its career started at the Albert Park Basketball Stadium, but with the team’s increasing fan base, they moved to the Melbourne Sports and Entertainment Centre and then again to the National Tennis Centre. Since 2000, the team has made the Melbourne Arena its home ground. Over its multi-decade career, the team has delivered many breathtaking performances in the NBL and has won the championships multiple times.
