The 90s was an interesting time for electronic music and nowhere was the scene more bustling than Germany. With night clubs staying open till the wee hours of the morning to indulge the throngs of people looking to dance without end, many metropolitan areas in Germany had some of the more active electronic centers. Springing from this madness was Alter Ego, a German acid house duo comprised of Roman Flugel and Jorn Elling Wuttke. Because acid house is no longer the preferred style of electronic music amongst youth culture, Alter Ego has taken this into account and changed its sound to incorporate more of a modern tone.
