With music and lyrics by Cole Porter. the musical Roman Holiday is based on an Audrey Hepburn movie of the same name. The plot follows Ann, a princess tired of her official duties on a state visit to Rome, and Joe Bradley a reporter. The princess ditches her entourage and roams around the city with Joe. The musical premiered at St. Louis, MO's The Muny in 2001.
