Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 is a musical production that was written by Dave Malloy and adapted from Leo Tolstoy's War and Peace. The show tells the story of Natasha, a young woman visiting Moscow as she awaits the arrival of her fiancé Andrey, who has been away at war. After she is seduced by a married man, she is shamed by all her peers yet finds compassion in an outsider named Pierre.
